Just as The Jam wanted to emulate their heroes the Small Faces, Fleet Street wanted to emulate The Jam. The image, passion and power are the same but the personalities and song-writing give Fleet Street a status all of their very own. The first time around saw the band playing live, recording in the studio, recording videos, doing interviews and releasing tracks, both studio and live, not bad for just two years. Circumstances led the band to split in 1990 but now, after a resurgence of interest in the scene and the band, Fleet Street have reformed and signed a recording deal with Powerpop Music.
