Firstly, money. When you first join, we do not expect you to turn up to an event with all your own gear. We will kit you out until you gradually acquire your own kit, your main outlay at a battle would be approx. £20 to hire a rifle for the weekend.

Secondly, you are probably interested in re-enacting but are not sure whether to seek out a 'Wehrmacht', 'Waffen SS', American or British group, well, on the re-enactment scene throughout the world, there is absolutely no stigma attached to re-enacting. Everyone realises that we only portray the 'front line' combat soldier, and should anyone display any severe political tendancies, then they will not be allowed to join. We are all just average blokes, from different backgrounds and different areas, who share the same interest and who like to meet at events, and have a good time in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Thirdly, age is also no problem, on the re-enacting scene, the ages range from 16 to people in their sixties, so don't let your age (whatever it is) stop you indulging in your hobby.
